  • Vehicle & User Profile Data: If you register, set up your profile, or provide feedback, we may collect your name, email, mobile number, and vehicle details (like type, model, and fuel preference) to personalize route and savings calculations.
  • Vision Test Data: Results from the in-app Vision Test, including your Vision Test Score (e.g., 6/10) and whether you completed the test.
  • Device Information: Such as mobile model, operating system, and unique identifiers to improve app performance.
  • Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage statistics to understand how the app is used.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Deliver our core services, such as showing nearby fuel bunks, latest fuel prices, toll costs, alternate routes, and EV/CNG station locations.
  • Improve app performance and user experience.
  • Send transactional messages (like FASTag recharge confirmations or route alerts) and, only if you opt-in, promotional offers or app updates.
  • Ensure location-based services work correctly.
  • Provide Vision Care Offers: As detailed in Section 3, we may use your Vision Test Score, Name, Phone Number, and City to connect you with third-party Eye Care Partners.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone except as explicitly described in Section 3 regarding Vision Test Data.

3. Sharing Your Information

We may share data only in the following cases:

  • With service providers working on our behalf (such as analytics providers).
  • As required by law or legal processes.
  • To protect our users, services, or the rights of Bunks Buddy Connect Pvt Ltd.
  • With Eye Care Partners (Based on Consent):
    • If your Vision Test result suggests a potential issue, and you explicitly provide consent on the pre-test screen, we will share your Name, Phone Number, City, and Vision Test Score with our trusted eye care providers and optical retailers.
    • This sharing is solely for the purpose of allowing these partners to contact you with the best possible offers and follow-up care.

All data shared is strictly for necessary operations and protected by confidentiality agreements.

4. Important Vision Test Notice (Disclaimer)

  • This is a basic eye vision test developed by our in-house team.
  • It cannot be used as a prescription or a substitute for a comprehensive professional eye examination.
  • For accurate results and diagnosis, always consult a qualified eye specialist.

5. Data Security

We take data security seriously. We use encryption, secure servers, and regular audits to protect your information from unauthorized access or disclosure.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access or update your personal data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Withdraw your consent for data sharing with Eye Care Partners at any time through the app settings or by contacting us (which will not affect prior sharing or the use of other app functionality).
